Cedarwood House – Tony S
“On the 11th January 2021, my wife who had been a resident at Cedarwood House for two years, passed away from Covid and Alzheimer’s. I know all the staff fought tooth and nail to keep Covid out of the home and this they managed for over a year, for which I am truly thankful to them.
The last year has been difficult for residents, relatives and staff due to the various restrictions Covid forced on all of us, but I feel Cedarwood House did their best to keep the home running, often with reduced staffing levels.
I was contacted early morning on the 11th January and advised my wife had had a bad night and to prepare myself. I was promised that someone would stay with her until the time came. Thank you for staying with her until 11am when she passed away peacefully. I do not think the home could have done any more than they did and I feel that my wife passed away with dignity and with her favourite staff member by her side.
I would not hesitate to recommend this home for short or long term care.”
