Health Care Assistant (Days)

Ash Croft House, Formby, Lancashire

Job Summary

Cedars Care Group is a family run company with 16 years of experience in nursing, dementia, elderly care and seven boutique homes across the UK.

We are now looking for carers to join our nursing care team in Formby.

Requirements:

  • Full-time day shifts available, 36 hours per week.
  • 12-hour shift patterns, to include a share of weekends.
  • Professional care experience is not essential as full training is provided but a passion for care is a must.

Deputy Care Manager

Winscombe Hall Care Centre is looking for an experienced, dedicated and flexible Deputy Care Manager for our stunning nursing home, who will lead and support the care team and support the Home Manager in achieving Home standards and targets.

The majority of your time will be spent working alongside and delivering hands on care for our residents and ensuring that an excellent quality of life is advocated and implemented at all times. Some administration will be required to include completion/ review of resident care plans.

Requirements:

  • The position is full time, 36 hours per week, day shifts, with alternate weekends working and on call duties expected.
  • NVQ2 or 3 would be desirable but proven leadership is more important.
  • You must have proven experience in excellent communication and dealing with professionals such as DoLs teams, Social Workers, CPN’s, & District nurses to ensure the health and well-being of all of our residents is at the forefront of everything we do on a daily basis
