Trial stays are encouraged at all our care homes. Please speak to the care home manager if this is something you or a relative would like to consider. Our doors are always open and we enjoy having guests, whether it’s a visit by a friend for dinner in the home, or a relative at a time that suits you.

Choosing a care home is like choosing any other place to live, therefore finding the right home for you or your loved one is vital.
The decision to move into a nursing home is often made when you or your loved one have been affected by illness. We know the decision making process can be very emotional for the family as well as the person who is making the move and we aim to make the transition as easy as possible.
Before you move into a Cedars Care Group home, we will complete an assessment to understand your medical and financial needs.
If the person you care for is not able to express their choice then relatives may have to make the selection process. We know how difficult this can be, however here at Cedars Care Group we are happy to answer any questions you may have. We understand the enormity of the decisions to be made and help all involved to make it a smooth transition and as much of a stress free process as possible.
For each resident we encourage they bring some personal belongings with them to make the difference between a new room and feeling like a home from home. We want to ensure all our residents feel they can do everything they did at home, sometimes even more, by being a part of our home. Not only do we help them maintain as much independence as they wish, we also try to help enhance their lives by providing activities, friendship and company, which may have been lacking in their home environment.
We provide a home for varying needs as the individual wishes. This may be just for a day visit in order to give a family member and the individual a break, for a short holiday period in order to alleviate the every day stresses at home or for longer periods, stretching through to full time accommodation.
