Suma Kaimal

Registered Manager

Suma has over 30 years of experience in an adult social care, working in both clinical and non-clinical settings.

Beginning her career in the Middle East, Suma started as a Staff nurse and specialised in individuals with physical and mental health difficulties.  Suma then moved to India and using her experience and knowledge gained from working in the Middle East she became Head Nurse in charge of a reputed psychiatric hospital providing specialist care for patients from all over the world.

Eager to learn more and progress in her career, Suma then moved to Britain and worked in a care home setting with nursing needs.  Suma was later offered a position as a Unit Manager and soon after was promoted to Service Support Manager .

Suma’s next role was as a CQC Registered Manager in a care home specialising in EMI nursing.  During the two years in this position, Suma completed the Level 5 Leadership and Management for Adults in a Care Setting, course.

Suma has been with Cedars Care Group since 2019, joining Cedar Grange as our Home Manager.

Suma says “As a home manager, I will be in a position to direct and affect the care that is delivered to all our residents. I find the role highly rewarding as I endeavour to bring happiness, independence and dignity to vulnerable adults.”
