There is an excellent team of carers and nurses who I can see actually "care" about the residents and relatives. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great environment for my mother to be looked after in.

The lady who looks after the activities is excellent so we as a family are very happy to say to others this home is both caring and safe. My mother is happy so we are all happy.

The care and attention that was given was wonderful. Full marks to everybody in the home.

Comfortable and caring. Staff are competent and caring, always ready to help.

The staff are wonderful and the care my husband receives is excellent.

Mental Health Awareness Week 2021

Here at Cedars Care Group we understand how important it is to be looking after our mental health as well as our physical health.  The wellbeing of our teams and our residents alike is of the utmost importance to us.  We strive to ensure that we offer all available resources to our teams so that they are able to get any support they may need.  The Mental Health Foundation is one of the valuable resources that we have access to.  We have provided our homes with some insightful “How To”documents produced by the Mental Health Foundation giving advice and guidance on how to look after our mental health in the best possible way.  The documents also encourage how to promote mental health awareness.

Our home Managers will be attending a St John Ambulance, webinar during Mental Health Awareness week.  This is to help with understanding the signs to look out for when colleagues need support.  We firmly believe that mental health matters and individual battles cannot be fought alone.  We don’t believe that anyone should be struggling in silence.  Reach out.
