There is an excellent team of carers and nurses who I can see actually "care" about the residents and relatives. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great environment for my mother to be looked after in.

The lady who looks after the activities is excellent so we as a family are very happy to say to others this home is both caring and safe. My mother is happy so we are all happy.

The care and attention that was given was wonderful. Full marks to everybody in the home.

Comfortable and caring. Staff are competent and caring, always ready to help.

The staff are wonderful and the care my husband receives is excellent.

Meet Molly

Molly turned up one day at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. After a quick check at the vets to ensure she wasn’t chipped, a local and social media campaign to find her owners, she moved in.

She had obviously been well loved, if a little too well as she was rather overweight. Molly is thought to be around 9 years old and is a long-haired Tortoiseshell.

The Tortoiseshell is a cat coat colouring named for its similarity to tortoiseshell material. Tortoiseshell cats are almost exclusively female.

We feel Molly turned up at exactly the right time, residents were missing their loved ones and the pets that often visited. Molly has given great comfort to some of our very poorly residents and is well loved. She is a prolific hunter which can cause a few screeches when she brings home a present.

She belongs to the residents of Winscombe Hall, if you are lucky enough to see her, give her a little neck scratch she loves to be fussed.
