Communication is excellent and treated my mum and other residents like their relative with dignity. We felt that the staff made a real effort to get to know mum and were genuinely fond of her. We were always made to feel welcome and the staff were very accommodating. "Due to the lockdown, the home is not available to for visits nor are residents allowed out. This is good under the covid19 conditions. I was allowed a 1/2 hour visit two weeks ago, and not having seen my brother for four months, he was very communicative and in excellent health. We talked as if I had seen him only a week before the visit. The home is doing an excellent job of caring for my brother."

"I have great admiration for the way Cedar Grange coped with the pandemic. Lockdown was managed knowledgeably, consistently and sensitively. The home adapted efficiently to constantly changing situations keeping all residents safe and contented. The staff were cheerful and imaginative in their approach to residents well being with letters home, celebrations and a wide range of stimulating activities. They were always happy to give telephone updates and demonstrated a genuine concern for the callers well being. As a family we have always been made to feel very welcome, invited to all of the activities which are arranged frequently. During this Covid-19 the staff have been nothing more than brilliant. "The care my dad received was excellent. He was always comfortable and warm and enjoyed the food very much. He received regular cups of tea and even a glass of wine. The staff were friendly and attentive. Most importantly his dignity was always respected. My dad was concerned about spending time in respite but his wishes were always respected so he was treated just like at home. High standards but not high price."

"My nan stayed at Cedarwood after surgery for cancer. She was living with vascular dementia, she loved spending time in the beautiful garden with friends she had made there. "My brother was in Ash Croft House for palliative end of life care. I couldn't have wished for him to be in a more caring place. All the staff treated him with compassion and dignity during the last few weeks of his life. The kindness shown to other residents was obvious too. Since that time dads, dementia has changed sometimes altering his personality and occasionally causing distress, during these difficult times dad has always been treated with dignity and respect.
