There is an excellent team of carers and nurses who I can see actually "care" about the residents and relatives. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great environment for my mother to be looked after in.

The lady who looks after the activities is excellent so we as a family are very happy to say to others this home is both caring and safe. My mother is happy so we are all happy.

The care and attention that was given was wonderful. Full marks to everybody in the home.

Goodbye and Good Luck

Lowri joined the Ellenborough in May last year at the age of 19.   Developing into a young woman during her time with us, Lowri has worked very hard to become the best Carer she could be.  Lowri has proved to be a valued and respected member of the Ellenborough family and has always showed love and compassion for the residents she cares for.

On 6th September Lowri left the Ellenborough to further her development, by embarking on a University course to study Nursing.

We said goodbyes and celebrated Lowri’s success and departure with cakes and  a glass of sparkling juice.   Lowri was presented with an armful of gifts to help her settle into her new student life and although our residents were terribly sad to see her go, they are happy for her onward development and all wished her well.

We are immensely proud of Lowri’s achievements and are so happy that we got to play a vital role in her development.  We wish Lowri all the very best for the future and know that she will make a brilliant nurse.
